InnoTech Alberta hosted Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy at the Alberta Carbon Conversion Technology Centre (ACCTC) shortly after his meeting with Premier Smith.

Governor Dunleavy visited the ACCTC on his recent visit to Alberta due to his recent bill capitalizing on carbon markets.

Governor Dunleavy was very well informed on the technical and scientific aspects of Carbon Capture Utlization and Storage (CCUS) and had numerous interesting questions for the experts at the Alberta Carbon Conversion Technology Centre.

InnoTech may visit Alaska to share applied research expertise as the State develops it’s CCUS policy agenda.

InnoTech’s Executive Director of Environmental Services, Bonnie Drozdowski, concluded “I believe Alberta has the people, expertise and technologies to provide support to Alaska’s vision.”
