Stuart Schroeder is an analytical chemist specializing in analytical atomic emission spectrometry. His research focus has been on fabricating and inventing proof-of-concept instrumental prototypes that upset the status quo. Spanning industrial and government labs, Stuart has hands-on experience with most of the common analytical methodologies including chromatography, atomic emission, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, FT-IR, atomic absorbance, atomic fluorescence, potentiometric autotitration, thermometric autotitration and flow injection analysis. Stuart has made considerable refinements to the solution cathode glow discharge (SCGD) which is now poised to become an instrumental method for on-line elemental analysis.
