Graham Knox is the supervisor of the Chemical Testing Administration and Operations. His primary responsibility is to maintain the integrity of our Laboratory Management Information System (LIMS) which tracks the progress of all the samples from receipt into the department to reporting and billing for the final results to our clients.
Graham initially worked in a Clinical Chemistry Lab at a local hospital then moved into preclinical drug safety assessment (Inhalation Toxicology) for a contract research organization (CRO) providing analytical support for assessment studies where he was active for about 22 years. He then moved into laboratory management for a CRO in the food and ingredient sector before joining InnoTech Alberta (then AITF) in 2013.
Graham enjoys the work he does, mainly because of the variety of challenges that crop up on an (almost) daily basis and he gains a tremendous amount of pride in providing and ensuring quality services for our clients.
Outside of work, Graham enjoys watching football (soccer) and films, as well as reading.
