equipment and pipeline in oil refinery

Canada’s Oil Sands Innovation Alliance (COSIA) in partnership with Process Ecology and InnoTech Alberta are excited to launch InsituSIM, which provides a platform for performing techno-economic evaluations of various configurations and operating conditions at oil sands in-situ facilities.

In 2015, Process Ecology created co2cepts, which was focused on GHG emissions reduction. The new version of the tool, InsituSIM, has expanded capabilities including alternative water treatment technologies, ability to simulate multiple steam assisted gravity drainage central processing facilities (SAGD CPF) configurations as well as improved selection of key performance indicators.

Examples of these features include:

We are hosting a webinar on October 16th from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. (MST) to showcase the tool’s new functionality and new modelling support being offered by InnoTech Alberta.

Speakers:

Ahad Sarraf, Research Engineer, Process Ecology

Michelle Hiltz, Business Relations Manager, InnoTech Alberta
