InnoTech Alberta is pleased to announce that Bonnie Drozdowski has accepted the position of Executive Director, Environmental and Bio-Industrial Services (BIS). Bonnie demonstrates exemplary leadership and a genuine passion for advancing InnoTech’s applied research mandate. 

Bonnie has been working within the organization’s Environment division since 2007.

With a strong technical background in soil science, reclamation and remediation, Bonnie has advanced through the organization as a researcher, team lead and director and has used her skills to support industries across the province.

She has a passion for influencing positive change in the environment, for developing new solutions to client problems and for forging meaningful relationships across Alberta. Bonnie is also a strong advocate for Truth and Reconciliation in the natural sciences.

Outside of work, Bonnie loves to spend free time with her family and on outdoor pursuits like camping, ice fishing and river boating.

Bonnie has two main goals for her role as Executive Director. The first is to gain an intimate understanding of InnoTech’s applied research acumen across divisions. Additionally, she aims to pair this knowledge with her technical background to spread her enthusiasm for InnoTech and the innovation ecosystem to inspire clients and optimize results for the future of the organization.
