InnoTech Alberta has partnered with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia’s national science agency, on an international collaboration focused on growing innovation in the mining sector.
The new agreement will promote advances, specifically in laser cladding technologies, used in the mining sector to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
This collaboration was initiated through the newly established Alberta Advanced Manufacturing International Hub (AbAMI-Hub) and will directly support initiatives within the Materials and Reliability in Oil Sands (MARIOS) consortium.
