Earl Jenson is a mechanical engineer with a diverse background and extensive experience in the biogas field. His well-rounded experience extends from the laboratory to full-scale industrial deployment of systems and equipment. Earl played a significant role in the development of InnoTech Alberta’s biogas program and it is still going strong 20 years later! He enjoys working at InnoTech Alberta because of the diverse skills and knowledge that are accessible all in one place.
He works with a wide range of industries including food processing, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, and pulp and paper. Earl’s most recent projects center around process design and development, equipment specifications and selection, material characterization techniques, full-scale facility analysis, techno-economic analysis, and the development of models to optimize facility operations based on scientific literature and pilot plant data.
In his off-hours, Earl recently refurbished a boat and looks forward to taking it out on the water for years to come.
