2023 InnoTech Alberta Field Day

InnoTech Alberta invites you to join leading agronomy researchers and industry representatives for an interactive Field Day held in Vegreville on Thursday, July 27, 2023 as we celebrate the agriculture community. 

Schedule 

Field Day combines indoor and outdoor tours, talks, networking, and learning. 

• 8:30 AM – Doors open with coffee & donuts courtesy of the Town of Vegreville. 
• 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM – Crop walk at the InnoTech Alberta farm.
• 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM – Lunch and networking session. 
• 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Tour of the InnoTech Alberta facilities including the fibre processing plant, agglomeration/fertilizer pilot facility and the controlled environment
  facilities. 

Research Scope 

Featured crops and ag technologies:

• Artificial intelligence in agronomy (vision learning, real-time disease monitoring)
• Canola seed treatments
• Fungicide and herbicide efficacy
• National Hemp Variety Trials and hemp processing
• Oats & flax regional variety trials

Plus, there will be ample time for plot inspections and discussions with researchers. 

Clothing and Equipment 

This event will take place, rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.
