Earl is the team lead for a group of professionals and technicians focused on biological and themo-chemical processes. This team predominately works in areas of anaerobic digestion, carbonization, pyrolysis and agglomeration and has a variety of equipment and pilot facilities to support these activities. The team has been involved with the development of pilot plants, material characterization techniques, full scale facility analysis, techno-economic studies and the development of models to optimize full scale facility operations based on pilot plant data.
Earl’s background is in the biogas field and has a wealth of anaerobic digestion facility operational experience. He has worked extensively on methane yield trials with a variety of co-substrates and feed-stocks, which extend from laboratory to full scale industrial deployment.
