Tamer Crosby has over 10 years of experience in academic and industrial research and development of engineering materials. He is the manager for the Advanced Materials and Asset Integrity group at InnoTech Alberta. This group focuses on applied research and development for material and process testing and development in harsh environment with a primary focus in the energy sector. Tamer is responsible for the management and planning of the research activities for his group.

Tamer enjoys the fast-paced and dynamic environment at InnoTech Alberta and appreciates working with highly skilled and smart people! He also likes that projects always change, present new challenges to solve, and sit in a sweet spot between academia and industry.

The projects that Tamer especially can contribute is expertise utilize his skills to investigate corrosion mechanisms, evaluate mitigation strategies, and help clients with their asset management plans. Tamer also thrives working with the diversity of the stakeholders, end-users, service providers, and regulators, and enjoys the collaborative effort amongst multiple InnoTech Alberta teams to deliver a successful project.

Currently, Tamer is part of the NACE Edmonton-Section Executive. He also loves to play soccer, catch up on reading, watch movies, and go for walks with his dog.
