Over many years, Lee Kruszewski has built up significant strategy, technical, financial, partnership, and executive management expertise. His experience spans corporate (information and telecommunications), start up (multimedia/gaming), and government (public/private) partnerships. Lee has worked in roles involving international investment attraction, technology industry development, science and innovation strategy and program development, and government corporate finance.
Lee leads strategic planning to ensure that InnoTech continues to fulfil its mandate to grow existing and new Alberta industries through applied research and associated major initiatives, partnerships with other research and technology organizations, and collaboration. Lee also guides the management of InnoTech intellectual property.
Lee works to make InnoTech a key player in helping organizations to directly create the future of Alberta. He supports and works with companies, post-secondary institutions, governments, and others partners by providing the applied research and innovation services that are needed to enable the new Alberta products, services and sectors. Always at the forefront is his desire to make a contribution that will help build a stronger, more sustainable and more diverse innovation ecosystem and industrial base in Alberta.
In his leisure time, Lee enjoys hiking, boating, and singing. He also delves into learning about and implementing sustainable energy and agricultural systems and solutions.
