DESCRIPTION:InnoTech Alberta invites you to join leading agronomy researchers and industry representatives for an interactive Field Day held in Vegreville on Thursday\, July 27\, 2023 as we celebrate the agriculture community.  \nSchedule  \nField Day combines indoor and outdoor tours\, talks\, networking\, and learning.  \n\n8:30 AM – Doors open with coffee & donuts courtesy of the Town of Vegreville. \n9:00 AM to 12:30 PM – Crop walk at the InnoTech Alberta farm.\n12:30 PM to 1:45 PM – Lunch and networking session. \n2:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Tour of the InnoTech Alberta facilities including the fibre processing plant\, agglomeration/fertilizer pilot facility and the controlled environment \nfacilities. \n\nResearch Scope  \nFeatured crops and ag technologies: \n\nArtificial intelligence in agronomy (vision learning\, real-time disease monitoring)\nCanola seed treatments\nFungicide and herbicide efficacy\nNational Hemp Variety Trials and hemp processing\nOats & flax regional variety trials\n\nPlus\, there will be ample time for plot inspections and discussions with researchers.  \nClothing and Equipment  \nThis event will take place\, rain or shine.
